PRIVACY POLICY.

When you use ApplyIQ we collect your name and email address (for your account), your CV and professional profile data (to power job matching), application history (to show you your dashboard), and payment information (processed securely by PayFast — we never store card details).

Your CV and profile are used exclusively to find matching jobs and generate personalised cover letters on your behalf. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models. Your information is never shared with employers without your explicit action.

All data is stored in Supabase (EU-region servers) with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Row-level security policies ensure you can only access your own data. CV files are stored in Supabase Storage with per-user access controls.

We use the following services to operate ApplyIQ: Supabase (database and auth), Anthropic Claude (AI generation — your data is processed but not stored or used for training), PayFast (payments — governed by PayFast's privacy policy), and Resend (email notifications).

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes all data within 24 hours. To request a data export or raise a privacy concern, email hello@applyiq.co.za.

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. There is no cookie consent banner because we only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function.
